YOURKIND — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1 Introduction

YourKind provides a platform for event creators to host, manage, and promote events, as well as communicate with their audience, including attendees, via email and SMS. This Acceptable Use Policy can be read in conjunction with YourKind’s existing Terms of Service and Policies, and further outlines the rules governing the use of our platform and services. By using YourKind, you agree to comply with this policy.

2 Prohibited activities

You agree not to use YourKind to:

  1. Illegal Activity: Engage in or promote any illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, impersonation, and activities that violate applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Harmful Content: Create, upload, or distribute content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
  3. Spam and Unsolicited Communications: Send unsolicited emails, SMS messages, or other forms of communication (“spam”) to individuals who have not opted in to receive such communications.
  4. Intellectual Property Infringement: Upload, distribute, or share content that violates the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted material, without proper authorisation.
  5. Security Violations: Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users’ accounts, or to conduct activities that could compromise the security or availability of our services.
  6. Disruptive Behaviour: Disrupt or interfere with the proper functioning of YourKind or any third-party systems, including launching any form of denial-of-service attack.
  7. Unintended Use: Only communicate with your audience, without the intent to create and run any events on the YourKind platform.

3 Fair use policy

YourKind’s communication tools (e.g., Email and SMS) should be used reasonably. Any excessive or unfair use that adversely impacts the platform’s performance for others may lead to limitations or suspension of services. Limiting your use of the platform is at the sole discretion of YourKind.

4 User content

All content you upload, share, or distribute through YourKind must adhere to our Terms, Policies, and local regulations. We reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to any content that violates this AUP.

5 Account termination

Violation of this AUP may result in a variety of actions, including the suspension or termination of your account and associated services. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent banning from the platform and potential legal action.

6 Reporting violations

If you encounter a violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately at support@yourkind.io.

7 Amendments

YourKind reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users, and continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of any updated terms.
