MELBOURNE SOUND, REGENERATED. Some tracks don’t just remind you of a night. They put you straight back in it. That bassline. That room. That look across the dancefloor when your mate knows exactly what’s coming. The tracks you never learnt the names of but could pick in two beats. The strangers who became your people. The “one more” that turned into a story you’re still telling. That feeling deserves a future. Loosey Goose presents AXOLOTL -a weekly home for Melbourne Sound. Every Saturday, the records that shaped the scene meet the music pushing it forward. Rolling basslines, stripped-back grooves and unmistakable Melbourne attitude. Old-school weapons alongside fresh productions, with the artists who helped build the sound sharing the booth with the next generation making it their own.Dedicated old-school sets bring the memories flooding back. Around it, there’s room to experiment, push the sound further and find your next favourite track. That’s regeneration. Taking what made it mean something and giving it somewhere new to go. Whether you lived it the first time or you’re only just finding it, there are more nights worth remembering ahead of us. Come for the track that takes you back.Stay for the one you haven’t heard yet. MAKE A NIGHT OF IT. BoothsGive the crew a home base. Just five booths available each Saturday - book ahead. JUNGLE x LOOSEY GOOSE x DELUXERUN IT BACK — Melb Cup Eve, Mon 02 Nov595 Mt. Alexander Rd ft.ADAM BARTAS - HEATH RENATA - KALUSSTEVIE MINK - SHORTROUND - DUANE BARTOLOHOLLY-J - ZAC DEPETRO - ELIZA BRAYSHAW - TRAVLOST-WHITE - JAYDEE - NUNNY - JOEL THOMAS - RYAN LEESONLOCHIE ARTHUR - OBE - MUFFIN MAN - HAMISH WHEELER Some friendships were built on terrible sleep and very good music. You had your people. Your spot on the dancefloor. That one track that could drag the entire crew back inside. Plans were loose. The soundtrack wasn’t. This Melbourne Cup Eve, Loosey Goose and Jungle join forces at Deluxe to RUN IT BACK. One night built around real old-school and a very good reason to get the crew together. With Melbourne Sound is at the heart of it. The basslines you know before the rest of the track kicks in. The anthems that still make you grab your mate. The forgotten weapon that has everyone asking, “How the f*@# did I forget about this?” And somewhere in the middle of it, you look around and remember why you loved going out in the first place. The music. The people. Feeling like you belonged there. So message the mate you haven’t danced with in years. Round up the regular offenders. Bring someone who’s only ever heard the stories. There’s still time to give them a few of their own. Monday’s looking suspiciously like Saturday. MUSIC. PEOPLE. MEMORIES. AGAIN.
